About Me

My name is Ben Dribus.  I am a 36-year-old math professor and chair of the math department at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.   I am pursuing two distinct research programs, largely independent of each other.  The first program involves applications of order theory and algebra to topics in theoretical physics, including quantum information theory and quantum gravity.    I am currently finishing a book on the subject for the scientific publisher Springer.  This research program is the main focus of this web site.  The second program involves applications of generalized cohomology theories to topics in algebraic geometry; in particular, K-theoretic approaches to the theory of Chow groups.
